Wake me up, when September ends

.

Oh hey, I haven't updated for more than a week already. If anyone's reading, sorry! =P

Anyways, much has happened nowadays.. Heart-breaking, heart-warming, heart-wrenching, things with lots of heartss. <3>I hereby shall first give my credit to Tien Yi (no plagiarism here) for this short paragraph I found in her blog:

Like on Sunday, I saw an old couple at the train station. They were at least 70 years old, and they were still holding hands as they shuffled slowly to the shopping centre. That instant, I saw a glimpse of eternity. That day, I realized that true love forever isn't in passionate kissing and sweet nothings and expensive chocolates.....rather, it's in the quiet, gentle dignity of the two old people, holding hands as they travel towards infinity.

Isn't it very touching? *nods nods*

Things nowadays are so fast-paced, people are rushing here and there everyday, and we've somehow forgot to stop and take a breather and look at what the world has to give us (the beautiful nature), or what we've done to the world (horrible global warming for instance?). And I think that due to this non-stop shuffling here and there in life, we've somehow forgot to live life the way it's supposed to be lived.

We are too busy to go back to our hometowns to visit our relatives..

We are in such a BIG rush sometimes we don't even slow down to chew and eat our food properly and instead settled for fast food restaurants.

Cellphones, e-mail and IM have replaced old-fashioned letter writing (it's not a bad thing larr.. But you know, a letter once in a while is more sincere and it's a permanent thing! Unless we destroy it ourselves that is..)

We resort to elevators instead of walking up the stairs even if it's just 1 floor up/down.

These are the few examples that we (in general) do everyday..

We hear some people breaking up with their other half because long distance relationship won't work. I wonder in the olden days, without the convenience of internet and telephones, how do they keep in touch and still love each other so much? They write letters to each other, and these letters take weeks, sometimes months to reach the recipient, and they continue to do this until they get married and live under the same roof.

And I don't see them get divorced..

Like the husbands and wives today, goodness gracious me, it's all divorcing here, divorcing there. Especially when both of them are working people. Therapies! Yes, this is a very good way to sit down and talk it out, but can't they just talk it out at home? Isn't it the same?? I mean, who've heard of therapies before the 21st century??

Reasons?
-He/She's always not at home
-He/She's too obsessed about her work
-He/She has no time for me anymore
-I think that he/she doesn't care for me anymore etc..

To me, divorce shouldn't come from these kinda reasons, adultery, yes of course! But is working so important until we don't have time for the people we love? Is money everything? Is a perfect marriage worth destroying because of working?

Money is an endless thing, we earn them, we use them. It's a neverending process and we'll continue to do that for the rest of our lives. The question is, do we waste our lives away to earn the things we can never have enough? We can never have enough money. Really, ask anyone.

Maybe we should give ourselves a day or 2 every week, stop what we're doing, and instead, do something we love with the people we care about: family, friends, anyone.

Take some time off and read carefully what she wrote. It's meaningful. Very. =)

Today's post marks the 50th post in my blog since it's making. Hooray!

And September ended today. Welcome, October. =)

24-hour boredom

.

As some of you might have already known, I went for the Sony's PS3 24-hour marathon. Nope I didn't exactly went to play, but to work. By 'work' I mean they pay me to play. It's just wrong, but it's still money nevertheless. XD

I'm so not gonna talk about how it was, but I could say one thing for sure. IT'S BORING! =.=

Bah that's all. If you're lucky Jeev might send me a report on that day and I'll post it here for you all to read. Toodles!

Because I love you.

.

More than a year ago, I met you in SMK USJ 23, the very school I'd chosen to stay on rather than moving to another school.

Though there are complains that this school is not good enough education-wise, I chose to stay on. Not that I don't value education in my life, I do. It is the many people there that I've befriended since the first day I stepped in, the relationship forged throughout the years spent together in my house studying, in their house playing, in the malls shopping and watching movies, in the cars clinging on to our dear lives as you guys drive around illegally without your darn 'P' licenses.

It is the intimacy and closeness between myself and the teachers. Never once I failed to go one day in school without meeting some teachers that I know. It is the respect that I give to all(if not most) of the teachers for willing to guide me as an adolescent. It is the passion that drives me to go to some particular teachers, asking for anything I'm curious about, be it Mathematics, Science, English, Bahasa Malaysia or Japanese. Sometimes it is just plain fun to chat randomly with them.

And then there's my Prefectorial Board. Hate it or love it, the board does change me from a shy, timid boy into a..well, better guy. I shall not exaggerate, haha! *ahem* I have my seniors and juniors, and they are like my own brothers and sisters. I'm the head emcee of most official functions and while I'm definitely not the best, it served as a platform for me to learn to speak up.

There are so many things I could talk about what makes my day in school. But at the end of everyday, there's only one thing that I look forward to the most: You.

Ever since you became my petsis, happiness has been redifined in my life. You indirectly showed me that there're other girls whom I could grow to like. You showed me a new level of intimacy I've never experienced before. Everyday when school's over, I would try to get down the bus-stop fast, all in hopes of talking to you, pinching your cheeks, teasing you. No matter how gloomy or bad I felt, my day would be brightened up just by seeing you and knowing you're here. Your smile became my source of happiness.

A year later, things started to change. I went to college, unable to see and talk to you anymore. Then more and more things divided us apart, enlarging the gap between us. Long story short, you put me through months of depression. Losing you as the closest person I've ever been with suddenly, I could not help but mourn the loss of your presence in my life. Though I always wanted to see you again, I tremble and darkness shrouds me whenever you came into my sight. I can't bear facing you.. I have to hide.

But I pressed on.

Though I'm dissapointed of you many times, I'll brush it aside. Though I know we could never be like last time anymore, I thank God that you're still in my life, somewhere. Though distance and time separates us, I would pray and believe that in the end, God would only make us closer than ever. I think back of the moments we spent, all the intimacy, the joy, the fun we had together. I won't let anything destroy our relationship. Nothing changes the fact that you're still my petsis.

And that today you're officially 15 years old, 2 years have passed since we've met each other. What about the following year, and the next, and then the future? I dread to think of the bad things that might happen, but all I could do is just pray and hope for the best.

"A relationship involves times of closeness and times of distance."

Why would I go so far for you?

Because I love you.

Happy Birthday dear Alisa muimui. =)

Tiredness

.

Ever since this week started, I have been feeling tired and sleepy all day and night, in college and in home, in front of the computer and when facing the book. Well duh.. Facing book sure sleep one la, haha!

Anyway I'm really feeling tired and moody nowadays. Unlike the previous weeks, I would have completed my homework and journal entries days before the submission date. This week especially, I'm starting to lag behind. Just when I took out my books and opened lecture notes in Powerpoint slides, my eyelid would feel very heavy and my mood to do the work would be gone almost instantaneously.

Well at least the moody state I would be in now isn't exactly the depression type. Thank God. =)

Right now as I typed this post out, my eyes are sore and painful, begging me to just get off the screen and go to sleep. Which I would, just a lil sooner..

On a lighter note, someone in college has been treating me nicer than he/she had been the previous semester. I don't know why, but I'm sure glad about it. And I'm glad for the person too. Thank God. Again. =)

I love my parents even more than I did previously. What about you? =)

Money not enough 2

.

Long story short, a later class got cancelled today so Carmen, Crystal, Ju Keat, Sarah, Yu Liang and me went to watch a show titled 'Money not enough 2'. It's a Mandarin-Hokkien show filmed in Singapore. I'm not gonna spoil it for you guys, but I strongly, very strongly(I mean it!) recommend that you guys go and watch this movie. Who knows you might shed a tear or two while rekindling the lesson you've been taught, the one some of you might have taken for granted all the while?

Just to note, I'm not fluent in neither Mandarin nor Hokkien, and I could still grasp the message firmly. And I cried. As in, I really did. Never before had a show made me cried a litre of tears.. *okay I'm exaggerating a lil bit XD*

*ahem* But I still cried.

Please, do go and watch the show. I won't waste my time asking you guys to if it's not a good one. =)

Love is the little thing rekindled in my heart today. =)

Went to youth service.

Ate dinner.

Got home.

AGAIN??

.

My English 2 class got cancelled today. Yup, again. ==

I would be going out with Subattra at 2.30, and it's just 11.30 now. What on earth could I do til then? Went to Pyramid to have our lunch.. Then walked over to the side of the shopping mall and stumbled upon a Chevrolet showcase. They actually give a RM20 Touch 'n Go card if you test drive their car! Desperate fellows.. Too bad only people above 21 years old can test drive their cars. =/

Went and watched Zohan with Subattra.. I knew I should have watched it at home, but I don't have much choice. Too many cuts la.. And I'm surprised the narrow-minded people in Malaysia didn't protest to prevent the show from airing in Malaysia. Haha.

4-hours break??

.

Most student would scream and jump in joy whenever they know their class is cancelled. Even me, I'm no exception. But what if you're suddenly 'given' a 4-hour break? Now that's another story.

Earlier in the morning, we started a 1-hour Mathematics 2 class at 8.30am. After the class we had a 2-hour break before English 2 class starts. After English class we have another one-hour break and then the Design Studies class will start.

After the 2-hour break, we returned to class only to find out that English class has been cancelled. So how long more til the next class? You do the math. ==

Neways Design Studies class was pretty okay.. Made haste and completed the work she gave so I wouldn't have to bring the work home. Free time now, w00t! =D

Maybe I'm gonna play DotA again, or just watch You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Either way, I'm free. =]

This, is my eldest sister.

"Mine, all MINE!!" *evil laughs*

Random-ness

.

It's such a short day today, or so it seems. 2 hours more, and a new day's gonna start already. Now that I look back, have I wasted the day? I don't know. =)

Anyone wanna come to my church youth camp on 17-20th December? Info's on me, do tell me if ya wanna come. =D

One more thing, I've decided that from now on, all(if not most of it) my posts will have a random pic at the end of it. It may be funny, serious, calm, beautiful, boring, just a complete random. Without further ado..

Pic of the day:

Featuring Edward! Our new Cho Dai Di king. He'll keep his cool, keeping silent until the end, and then BOOM! Dai di, full house, 4-of-a-kind, double kill triple kill swoosh win us all.

And Sarah and me still hadn't got a chance to play our cards at one round. ==

Merdeka!!

.

Ah dang I was 25 hours late. But nvm la.. Doesn't matter. Happy Independence Day Malaysia! But not to narrow-minded people I've ranted about recently.

So did you guys did anything? Went for countdown at Pyramid? Went to Stadium Merdeka? Shouted 'MERDEKA!' and sang 'Negaraku'? Held your girlfriend's hand and smooching in a secluded spot when the clock struck twelve?

Well just few hours back I was having a game of jinrummy(kinda like mahjong) with my parents. I won 6 times out of 13 games! W00t!

Now I'm gonna continue my anime. School Days!

Ahh, a lil ecchi-ish. =P Teehee.
